Exhibition of photographs by Tommy Candler
1st December 2005 – 28 February 2006

Tommy Candler spent fifteen years working on magazines as fashion editor, designer, layout artist and visualiser in charge of photography for covers, fashion patterns and beauty. For the last twenty years she has worked as a full-time freelance photographer from her studio in Kent.
She has been commissioned by all the major magazines in the United Kingdom and contributed to the country orientated books published by Rizzoli in the United States, including the definitive Barn, Farm, Mill and Country Wisdom series.
In the last few years Tommy has been expanding her strong vibrant images from book size to wall size and has been exhibiting in London and across Kent. Her exhibitions include Holland Gallery W11; Coast Gallery, Fulham; Trinity, Tunbridge Wells; Portico Sevenoaks; West Eleven W11; West End House, Smarden.
Tommy’s abiding passions are travel and colour – her pictures express her passions and her bright, breezy personality.
Although many of the earlier exhibitions were conventional prints, with the advent of vibrant and everlasting digital inks, Tommy now feels that her pictures are being shown in their true colours… BRIGHT and BOLD and she hopes you think beautiful!
Her current exhibition at The Place, Camber Sands runs from December 2005 until the end of February 2006.
